Dear Friends of 180,

As part of the 180 family, you empower our counselors and volunteers to reach vulnerable neighbors in our local community who are rebuilding their lives as they break free from domestic and sexual violence. From providing safe shelter from abuse, to making counseling free and available 24/7, all of this work – and so much more – is made possible by you. Despite this difficult year and these most challenging circumstances, you continue to stand by our side. We are grateful for the many acts of love and kindness which are all around us this Thanksgiving including:

  • A generous donor provided every one of our families a $150 food store gift card for Thanksgiving groceries.
  • Another donor provided beautiful floral arrangements to help set a cheerful tone at the Safe House dinner table this evening.
  • Our friends at Dearborn Farms have provided a catered dinner to everyone staying in our Safe House tonight.
  • A special donation has been pledged from a very kind donor as a matching gift for the upcoming “Giving Tuesday” fundraiser on December 1st — so that for anyone who donates on Giving Tuesday, your gift will be matched up to $5,000.

These examples of human kindness and generosity are the signs of hope which help sustain us. Your support is integral to our mission here in Monmouth County, and we are grateful for it every day.

We are wishing each of you and your family, a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

With appreciation,

180 Turning Lives Around
