Thank you so very much to our friends at Fulfill for helping 180 provide meals to our food insecure families. Families receiving domestic violence counseling and supportive services through 180’s Keeping Families Together Program are also receiving assistance with meals during this pandemic. In partnership with Fulfill, 180 counselors pick up Crisis Relief Food Boxes and deliver them to our families in need. Our caring counselors include activities for children along with therapeutic prompts to help them through this challenging time. COVID-19 has put additional economic strains on our families who are already experiencing emotional hardships due to the effects of domestic violence in their households. For these families especially, the trauma is compounding however knowing there will be food on the table helps lessen their hardships.
