For more than forty-five years, 180 Turning Lives Around has been a leader in empowering survivors to heal from domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition to our comprehensive, confidential, and free services for survivors, we educate and advocate for the social change needed to create cultures that prevent abuse. Please visit the individual job postings below for specific licensing & degree/experience requirements. Each position has unique requirements. In general, we seek trauma-informed and culturally sensitive candidates who are able to work from an empowerment model and who possess strong advocacy skills. Candidates should have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, and be adept at networking, collaborating and problem-solving. Experience with families affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, trauma and human trafficking. Bilingual/bicultural in Spanish & Portuguese preferred.

All positions require: excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft office. (email, word, excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Google Workspace (gmail, docs, slides, storage, calendar)

For client/direct program work, employees must have 40 hours domestic violence training (can be provided upon hire). Job descriptions are not contracts. Duties and responsibilities may be changed as business needs dictates. Must have cleared fingerprint and background check, CARI check. NJ Drivers license in good standing.
