AHYC Ms. Race Charity Regatta to Benefit 180 Turning Lives Around “Stay the Course”
The Ms. Race is an annual charity sailboat race, hosted by the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club in August, to benefit 180 Turning Lives Around. It is a race sponsored by and for women, with the support of the AHYC club members and the race committee. 2020 marks the 16th Annual Ms. Race event to be held on August 22nd with the theme “Stay the Course”. Participation in the race features all female skippers and crews. The Ms. Race has experienced increased popularity and heightened presence since its inception. Proceeds from the Ms. Race as well as other related special events throughout the year are donated to “180”, a Monmouth County N.J. based private, non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. The goal of this year’s Ms. Race is to expand participation of women and girls of all ages including partnership with AHSEP, the Atlantic Highlands Sailing Education Program, and to raise additional funds for 180 Turning Lives Around through increased donations and sponsorships.
Journal Sponsorships are available at various levels. If you are interested in sponsoring the event please download the sponsorship form at this link or you can contact Eileen Campbell eileenrcampbell@comcast.net, Diane dkropfl@att.com or ahyc.ms.race@gmail.com for sponsorship / donor information.

Important Note re: Covid 19:
Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club is closely monitoring the Covid 19 safety protocols issued by Governor Murphy. The club will adhere to any on water protocols that are in place at the time of the regatta. This may impact the number of crew members allowed on each boat and the format of our event. We will update the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for the event accordingly to comply with any set protocols for safety.
