Hazlet, NJ – December 1, 2025: 180 Turning Lives Around Chief Executive Officer Liz Graham has been appointed to Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill’s Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force, a diverse group of leaders selected to help shape policy for the incoming administration.

The 433-member task force brings together diverse voices from across New Jersey to provide real-world insight during the transition process. Members will participate in listening sessions and briefings designed to ensure that major initiatives reflect the needs, challenges, and lived experiences of communities throughout the state.

Ms. Graham’s appointment recognizes her leadership in the field of survivor advocacy and her deep understanding of the systemic barriers facing individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and related traumas—a perspective she knows firsthand as a survivor herself.

As CEO of 180 Turning Lives Around, Ms. Graham oversees a comprehensive continuum of survivor-centered services, including 24/7 hotlines, counseling, advocacy, and 180’s 21,000-square-foot Safe House. She is also a trusted voice in statewide policy conversations, championing solutions that strengthen protections for survivors and expand access to critical resources.

Her participation in the transition process will help ensure that survivors’ perspectives, and the realities faced by the organizations that support them, are included as New Jersey’s next administration charts its priorities.
