SUMMARY:What Were You Wearing? - Survivor Exhibit: Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:What Were You Wearing? – Survivor Exhibit\n180 Turning Lives Around is aiming to confront the stigma that certain behaviors or clothing lead to sexual assault. We understand that sexual assault is never the survivors fault\, and nobody deserves to be sexually assaulted. All stories were bravely and generously donated by anonymous survivors within our own community\, to inspire the outfit displays in this exhibit. Our aim is to represent that sexual assault is a crime of abusive power and control\, not sexualization or what someone wears. \nOpening Reception\nSaturday\, 4/25 from 2-5pm \nMonmouth Arts\n99 Monmouth Street\nRed Bank\, NJ 07701 \nExhibit on View\nTuesday\, 4/28 and Thursday\, 4/30 from 12-4pm or by appointment (call 732-212-1890) \nView Event FlyerIn honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and What Were You Wearing (WWYW)\, Sweetest Sins will generously donate 10% of all sales on April 25th to support 180 Turning Lives Around and our mission to empower survivors. \nSweetest Sin Boutique™\n7 White Street\nRed Bank\, NJ 07701 \nPhotos From Past Exhibits
