Virtual Ladies Night

“Stay the Course”

Presented by:
The Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club Ms. Race Committee

An evening of shared stories, sailing, survival and empowerment.

To benefit 180 Turning Lives Around

Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 7:00 pm

Ms. Race 2020Join the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club Ms. Race Committee for a discussion about how women sailors have used the sport to help them overcome some of life’s obstacles. We will be covering topics of domestic violence, gender bias and racism, and the need for inclusion in the sport of sailing.

Moderated by 180 Volunteer, Dara Brown, NBC News Anchor/Reporter, we will explore personal stories of the challenges female sailors are facing in their personal lives and in their sailing careers. Despite the adversity these women have faced, they have courageously “stayed the course” to achieve their goals while inspiring others to reach their potential.

Tickets will be distributed via email and a link to the zoom meeting will be sent to you the morning of the event. Tickets are donation based and gifts of all sizes are appreciated and will support 180 Turning Lives Around.
